Eilat hosted a rhythmic gymnastics tournament “VENERA CUP-2012”

On March 16-17, the rhythmic gymnastics tournament “VENERA CUP-2012” was held in Eilat (Israel). Tournament of  Venus Zaripova  – 4-time USSR champion in individual events and silver medalist in all-around (1981). The competition was attended by gymnasts from Israel, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Cyprus, Latvia and the United States.

Traditionally, Russian women have confirmed their high class. Alexandra Merkulova won the senior women’s tournament, her compatriot Elizaveta Nazarenkova took second place. In the age of 1998, p. the entire pedestal became Russian:  Dina Averina ,  Yulia Sinitsina ,  Arina Averina .
